You can file a police report in person at the Oceanside Police Department (3855 Mission Ave next to the Mission Branch Library). The Oceanside Police lobby hours are Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM. After hours, there is a phone in front of the station that can be utilized to contact our police dispatch center directly for assistance.
The Oceanside Police Dispatch Center is staffed 24 hours a day by trained public safety dispatchers. The dispatchers receive calls from the 9-1-1 and business lines. They assign the appropriate police officers to handle the calls in a prioritized manner based on the nature of the call.
