Join the Oceanside Fire Department for a free course on emergency and disaster preparedness. The course takes place at the Oceanside Fire Training Center, 110 Jones Road, on Saturday, December 14 from 8:30AM to 4:30PM.

The class will cover:

• Basic First aid
• Utility shut offs at your home 
• Supply kits
• Fire extinguisher use
• Identifying hazards and risks
• Creating a family communications plan
• Backing up important documents and more
